What is cheap health insurance? Is it like a cheap watch? Imagine buying your health insurance from a shady guy on a street corner. “Yes I’d like the Rollex for $10.” And then when you want to see what time it is you realize that the watch is running slow and you’ve missed your appearance on Oprah. Do you want health insurance that breaks when you most need it?
I can’t imagine anyone who really does want cheap health insurance. Sure, the price is right when you’re buying it, but then you may be left with little or no benefit when the time comes to use it. Frequently scam artists prey on those that are looking for cheap health insurance. They sell bogus health insurance from a company that only exists to collect premiums. Or they sell health insurance that the buyer thinks will help in a bad situation, but then after an accident the buyer finds that the cheap health insurance doesn’t pay for most of their hospitalization!
Rather than looking for cheap health insurance, perhaps consumers should be looking for a good deal on health insurance. A quality product at a reasonable price that protects personal finances and ensures ongoing access to medical care when it is needed. When I was researching my health insurance book, I found that there were quality insurance plans in all price ranges. The quality of the insurer and the price of the product were not related. That is to say that low priced health insurance from a quality insurer exists, as well as low and high priced health insurance from insurers that I would never use. When you read my health insurance book, you won’t have to do all the research to figure out how to get a good deal on health insurance, and you can get something better than cheap health insurance: a good value on a good health insurance product custom-fitted for you.

I think Rolex is spelled with only one “L”
Apparently you’ve never shopped for a watch on the street before. $10 street fakes are called “RoLLex”, not “Rolex”
