OutOfPocket.com provides an online database where consumers can share the costs that they’ve paid for their out of pocket health insurance expenses. Browse the database and then contribute the costs you’ve paid! I’ve heard personally from a number of readers, both consumers and health insurance professionals, about how helpful they find the book. I’ve found reviews on Barnes&Noble and Amazon, including one from someone claiming to be an irate health insurance agent who obviously hasn’t even read the book yet, feeling threatened that consumers will have more knowledge when buying health insurance! Proof positive that you need the book.
